For me this person is genius. The way he thinks and sees the world is different for sure. Yes I know, that we have already talked about him recently, but his personality is so extensive that it is just impossible to stop talking. Less words from me better listen to the Maestro.
Big Little Lies

Definitely one of the best series of 2017.
Reese Witherspoon’s one of the best performances of her career. The most lively character. Kidman has got, of course, the most difficult part in the series. For Sheylin Woodley it was kind of rehab, after her failure in “Divergent”. Unfortunately, a delightful Laura Dern got only a little role.
The work on characters is remarkable – makes people to fully fell into the serial. You just literally can’t stop watching it. And while you are sitting infront of your monitor, you somehow connect with them. And together with the characters you experience the growth of the child, worries, pain… You would feel it all even through your laptop’s monitor. And all of this is the merit of the actors.

I would like to especially point out the scene when the Sheylin Woodley’s character runs along the coast, and then the “support group”, of Reese’s and Kidman’s characters, joins her. Chills, literally chills!
About-detective structure pleases the most. It wasn’t made just for twist, it was made for forcing of the atmosphere. So at the last series you are literally bitting your nails because of excitement. It consists only of seven episodes. you can easily finish on one sitting.
Spider-Man: Homecoming

For now, this is the most approximate answer to the question about “what does it mean to be a superhero”. The film made very scrupulously, because creators wanted to make the viewers to feel all the dilemmas that the newly made hero is experiencing. The thing that was needed is to put the character to everyday life, that’s understandable to all of us.

The Vulture – is the greatest antagonist of all the previous “Spider Man’s” movies. Michael Keaton still in his amplua of Birdman. Moreover — he got the best role of villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. He is the God in this role. And that’s mainly due to prescribed motivation of the antagonist. Also there is a brilliant scene in the car. I’m applauding and call it the best screen in all the Marvel films franchise. Strong script, the work of directing, the cast, acting and the music makes this movie magnificent.
Black Books (2000-2004)

Now I am revising one of my favorite TV series “Black Books”. In fact, every fan of British humor knows about “Black Books”, and perhaps my today’s blog will not give anything new. But keep reading it anyways! This serial takes first place of my personal list of – funniest series that I’ve ever watched.
For those who have watched this serial, a quick review: “Black Books” is the quintessence of British humor, with a combination of fierce sarcasm, and inherent elements of surrealism. This serial became a classic, so that’s just a shame not to know it, if you consider yourself as a British humor adorer.

It has never been so hard for me to write a text on something I love so much. It’s just so funny serial with its brilliant verbal humor, that just impossible to describe. Just go and watch it already!
Quote of the Day
Demand for the horror genre has noticeably increased over the last couple of years. I don’t precisely know whether it is related to the fact that life is now very stressful and so people are trying to throw out all the negative or there might be other factors, but still the fact remains. People loves and desires to watch horror movies. But if we will go back to the origins of the horror/triller genres, the is only one person who immediately comes to our minds, and his name is Alfred Hitchcock.
Alfred Hitchcock was an English film director and producer, who had a huge impact to the cinematography. Widely regarded as one of the most influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. The Master of Suspense I would say. And here are some quotes of this remarkable person, that will stay in our hurts forever.
Hannibal (2015)

So I recently finished watching one of the most beautiful series in the universe. Before staring to talk about the third season, I think it would be better to look back and revise the previous ones. Initially, the serial creators tried to be in a thriller genre about a maniac, by been visually beautiful and glossy. However, greater amount of viewers were not satisfied with the “theatricality”. The first season was too serious. But in the second season they have changed some stuff and heed to the public’s opinion. Showrunner took off the “realism” and gave the emphasis on meditative. So in general second season consists of 13 episodes. A great clip art, where the plot is just an excuse to move from one beautiful scene to another. A real parable was shown, parable of the madness and beauty, that made me to constantly pause and just look at the picture of the screen. Magnificently eye catching beauty.

The finale of the story about Hannibal went even further. The first half of the season is the most beautiful thing that was ever shown on TV. The dialogues are pretentious and poetic. Every action tried to be have luxurious and metaphorical visuals.
The second half is more about “realism”, which wasn’t a right choice that creators did.

Yes, showrunners finished very sharply and to be honest it wasn’t as great as the final of the second season, but it was beautiful anyway.
Still don’t really understand why people hated the third season so much? It had a clear and logical end. What else do you need homans. Will you ever be satisfied?
From Worst to Best
The photos from the set of a new film about a “painted psychopath” are online now. There is a possibility that this is not the final look of the image, and creators of the movie just tricking us. But if not, then it’s a pity the intrigue didn’t work out. Today I just wanted to remind how, in the last ten years, the character of Joker became the most coveted on the screens.

I still remember how the Internet literally exploded in 2007, when the role of Batman’s main enemy appointed to handsome Heath Ledger. Everyone were arguing that Ledger is not even close to the great performance of Jack Nicholson. And it seemed understandable, because Heath Ledger was a person who just won the Oscar by playing in a scandalous movie “Brokeback Mountain”. And at that time Nicholson was considered as the best incarnation of Joker character.
Then the first promo photo of Nolan’s Joker came up and all fans around the world literally turned into white with horror and shock. Dissatisfied remained, but their army began to decrease. Then came the teaser of the “Dark Knight” without a single frame of Joker, and only at the end of the teaser on the background we could hear the canonical laughter of the antagonist. Almost immediately people’s faith has increased and they began to wait for a full movie with Heath Ledger’s performance. And you know well what happened then.
30 SECONDS TO FAILURE
When it was announced about the shooting of “Suicide Squad”, and Jared Leto was approved to the role of Joker, there was no hate around him. Because at that time, Jared won two Oscars, and the Internet community was sure about him. According to the win-win formula “good actor = good Joker”. Everyone was excited.

But unfortunately no one expected, that a lot of problems might arise. Studio ripped out the air of Directors. Disagreements, misunderstandings between studio heads and directors led to bad ratings from critics and audiences sides.
As a consequence, most of people and critics were disappointed — it seemed that the Joker was the only one who was worth watching “Suicide Squad” — but the comrade himself came out almost the worst part of this Chapiteau circus.
Phoenix, reborn from the ashes
Well now we are in anticipation of a new film about “Joker” in a starring role Joaquin Phoenix.

Will it be as good as Nolan’s movie or even better, or will it also fail as “Suicide Squad” did. We’ll find out next year.
Movie Review: Captain Marvel
Ehhh! I don’t know about you guys, but I totally agree with this guy. I don’t even have a courage to write something by myself. Well, ehhh!
Quote of the Day
Todays quotes are from an American actor, who is known for his great works/characters in “MIB”, “I am Legend”, “Bad Boys” and many others. His is not just a good actor, father and singer, now, crushing the YouTube platform with his incredible vlogs. Over the years we still can see his charisma, positive and his love of life.
Tarantino. Inglourious Basterds

And here we go! One of my favorite director, author and filmmaker, Quentin Tarantino. You won’t find hundreds thousands of movies directed by Tarantino, no. There are few, but mark my words every sing film, that was directed by this filmmaker has turned to cult film. Which reminds us, that “the quality of the movie is over the quantity”. Well my work for today is not to tell you the whole biography of Quentin Tarantino, you can easily find the needed information on internet. In this article we will mostly concentrate on his brilliant work, on “Inglourious Basterds”

Inglourious Basterds, challenge films of this genre. The trailer of the film showed us a saturated action war fighter, in which a group of American Jews exterminates the Nazis. But in reality, it turned out that the film is about a different things. Gunfires take about 15 minutes, the remaining two hours is intensely dramatic dialogues. This film laughs at the militants, and shows how stupidly clichés look in an action movies, to which we are so accustomed.
Most of the action movies have a certain rules, which they follow like – the main character must be smarter and stronger than everyone else, we look at him, admire him, want to be like him. – secret agents can easily infiltrate the ranks of the villains, learn their plans, trace all around the fingers and break any conspiracy. But in the Inglourious Basterds every thing is different. The villain is smarter than any of the heroes. And cheap tricks like dressing up, which usually work in other movies, don’t work in this one, and the hero immediately caught in a scam.
This film critics all the films of this genre. Tarantino says, that violence in movies is neither good nor evil. It’s violence. It is wrong to speculate on a sense of patriotism, to make you root for any side. This film is not like a classic war movie or a classic action movie, it is more like a Western, where there are no good or bad guys, where the hero is going through a scrape and as nothing had happened goes into the sunset.
